Our undercover diners will arrive at your restaurant at the time you requested. When we evaluate your restaurant we will arrive as a couple, unless you specify otherwise. We have found that one person dining alone sometimes draws attention from the staff. They will observe your business as they approach, noting the appearance from the outside. Is the parking lot clean and well-lit? As they walk in, looking at your restaurant through a customer's eyes, they will note the atmosphere of the room. As they are seated, they will observe the employees and how they are interacting with the other customers. Is everyone smiling and happy? Is everyone looking their best with a neat, clean uniform?
Our diners will place their orders and carefully note how long it takes for the various courses to arrive. Are they hot and appetizing? Did the server try to upsell them, offering appetizers, beverages or dessert? Did the server check back often to see if anything was needed? Is the proper use of merchandising and marketing materials such that the diners are encouraged to try the featured items? There is no reason for any of the answers to the above questions to be "no". When you receive our evaluation you will be able to see what your customers see and improve your service. Most of our clients request that we evaluate their restaurant on a monthly basis.
The cost for this service is $49.00 plus reimbursment for the meal our undercover diners eat and the gratuity they leave for your server.
